MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) . . .

MOPS helps meet the spiritual, social, emotional, and even physical needs of women doing the most important job in the world - raising their young children!  By providing quality child care while Mom can relax and interact with other women, there is opportunity for times of learning, sharing, and gaining support from each other.

MOPS meets at our church (First Baptist, Wellsboro on the corner of Central Ave. & Pearl St.) the first and third Thursdays of each month (from the third week of September through the first week of May)  9 - 11:30 AM.  We encourage mothers with children from birth through kindergarten to join in this enriching time which benefits the whole family.

MIT (Mom's In Touch)

MIT meets Tuesday's during the school year from 8:30 - 9:00 AM at our church to pray for our local public schools.  Since so much of a child's time each day is spent in school, it plays an enormous role in his or her life.  It only makes sense for Christians concerned about their child(ren)'s education to pray, lifting up the schools and the children to the Lord.
